Gecko's Rest is located on Sydney Street (river end), in Mackay’s city centre. You’ll find us three doors down from Kate O'Reilly's Irish Pub. Next to us is a dentist, 1300 Smiles.
From the Bus Stop (Caltex): We are 10 minutes walk from the Greyhound / Premier bus stop (corner Victoria / Tennyson ST). Walk along Victoria Street into the city centre (towards roundabout). Turn onto Sydney Street at the corner Victoria / Sydney Street (Palace Hotel). Next to it is Q Bar on Sydney, we are three doors down from them.
From Airport: Please take a cab as there is no public transport (approx. $20/6.5km via Milton Street).
From Railway Station: Please take a cab (approx. $20/6.5km via Nebo Road or Milton Street).
